Exterior

Filtered pool 10x4.5m, outside shower (solar heating), barbecue, garden furniture, many stone terraces, some covered (one covered with wine), always out of sight of neighbours. Garden : two small stone service buildings, some of the land left to the “garrigue”, otherwise planted with olive-, pine- and palm-trees, cypress, pink laurels, lilies, rosemary, lavender, thyme, cactus …One wall on the North and North-East limit of the land, otherwise “natural” fence (garrigue), parking spaces in front of the garage, also good for playing “boules”.

In the South, water can be a problem. Our own water drilling takes care of that. We also have a good water pressure coming from the “town” (reservoir 150m uphill). It is all the same better to turn off the tabs outside before taking a shower on the 2nd floor, or put all the large water-consuming machines in the house.

The electricity supply is sufficient, except if everything is turned all at once : the fuses can blow. In such a case, one has to press the large green knob in the back of the garden shed (facility to be move into the garage planned).

Should you care to exercise in the garden, there is always something to do, especially watering. The caretakers look after the pool. Although there is nothing complicated about them, we ask the tenants do not touch the pool related machinery (pump, filter, cleaning) without asking Mr. Tudela. We recommend covering the pool with the “bubble blanket” overnight or whenever it isn’t in use: it helps to avoid temperature loss and reduces the amount of dire falling into the water.
